The English Theatre Frankfurt stands in steadfast solidarity with the people of Israel. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, near and far, mourning loved ones lost or fearing for those taken hostage by Hamas, and hope that peace and healing will soon comfort the victims.

The petition has since been shared widely – across the Frankfurt and even German borders. Supporters rallying around our theatre are hailing from all over Europe, the U.K. and the U.S. Your signatures have helped us tremendously to put a spotlight on our plea: to remain in the heart of Frankfurt, in the theatre that was built for us over 20 years ago. We can’t thank you enough!
But: Our leasing dilemma is still not resolved, and hence, our work is still not done. We will need to continue to appeal to the City of Frankfurt, Commerzbank AG and CapitaLand to secure the ETF’s venue inside the Gallileo Tower. So…please continue to share this petition. Spread the word. And if you haven’t signed it yet…let’s start with that!
With deep gratitude, Your ETF Team
